UNIFORMS

The California Ranger Uniform is similar to the U.S. Army Calvary uniform. Some uniform items are specific to the organization and you will purchase them through the troop Adjutant, these are listed at the bottom of the page. The rest of the uniform items can be purchased from local tack stores or online such as Amazon (see links next to each item).

• A black cowboy hat
  Boot Barn or Valencia Saddlery should have options, you can also order online, but it is easier to tell fit/quality in person. Please see one of the troop officers for an example.

In the San Fernando Valley: Foothill Saddlery and Valencia Saddlery - sells the Breeches, gloves, boots and helmet.

Jim's Western Wear and Boot Barn will have the cowboy hat. You may also want to check out Ebay or Craigslist for used leather boots. The Mane Thing is a consignment shop where you may find a good deal on some boots.
